A typical Al Barsha villa has a majlis near the entrance, a family living room, a main kitchen and often a separate kitchen for daily cooking, with four or more bedrooms upstairs. Plots are generous and rooms are large.
Many villas were built with solid wood or simple laminate kitchens and wardrobes that are now worn or dated, and they hold far less than a modern system with full-extension drawers, internal organisers and tall pantry units.
The apartments in Al Barsha 1 and Al Barsha South range from studios to family units. There the work is usually a kitchen replacement, fitted wardrobes and a TV wall, often for owners preparing a unit for rent.
Some villas have been extended over the years, so rooms are rarely standard sizes, which is why we measure everything on site before designing anything.
When a family buys an older villa or rebuilds on the same plot, the interior is often redone completely. We measure every room, design the kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, doors and majlis joinery together in 3D, and install them in one programme.
Planning early helps with things that are hard to change later, such as positions for built-in appliances, power for lighting inside display cabinets, and space for a laundry and pantry.
Most Al Barsha renovations start with the main kitchen, then move to the bedrooms and bathrooms. Because the joinery is made in the factory, each room takes a few working days on site, and we phase the work so the villa stays in use.
Replacing kitchens, wardrobes and doors is joinery work. If your plans also move walls or plumbing, Dubai Municipality approval may be needed first, and we can provide drawings for that.
