Al Reem Island, Abu Dhabi

Al Reem Island sits just off Abu Dhabi island, next to Al Maryah Island and the city centre, and is one of the capital's main high-rise residential districts. Its neighbourhoods include Shams Abu Dhabi, with the Gate Towers and the Sun and Sky Towers, Marina Square, City of Lights and Najmat Abu Dhabi, along with the villa and townhouse community of Reem Hills.

Our Abu Dhabi showroom in Al Zahiyah is a short drive from Reem, which makes it easy to see kitchen and wardrobe finishes in person before the site visit. Most of what we do on the island is apartment work: replacing or upgrading kitchens, adding fitted wardrobes, and building TV walls and storage that make an apartment feel larger and calmer.

Homes on Al Reem Island

Most homes on Reem are apartments, from studios to four-bedroom units and penthouses, many with sea or skyline views. Kitchens are either open to the living and dining area or set in a compact closed kitchen, and bedrooms are handed over with standard built-in wardrobes or none at all.

In an open-plan apartment the kitchen is part of the living room, so we design it as furniture: handle-free fronts, tall units that hide the fridge and small appliances, and a finish that matches the TV wall and the doors. In a closed kitchen the aim is storage, with full-height units, corner solutions and deep drawers instead of cupboards you have to kneel to reach.

Reem Hills and the island's townhouses offer more space, with larger kitchens, more bedrooms and room for a walk-in closet, and we plan them the way we plan any villa fit-out.

Moving into an apartment on Reem

If your apartment is newly handed over, we can design the kitchen upgrade, wardrobes, vanities and living-room joinery together, then measure and install before you move in. Doing it in one project means one set of finishes and one installation programme instead of several contractors.

For owners who rent out their units, we keep the specification durable and neutral so it suits a wide range of tenants. Towers have their own logistics, such as booked service lifts and permitted working hours, so we plan deliveries and installation around the building's schedule.

Renovating an older Reem apartment

Some of Reem's first towers were completed more than a decade ago, and their original kitchens and wardrobes are now showing their age. Replacing them is the quickest way to modernise an apartment: the new kitchen is made to the existing layout or an improved one, and installation takes a few working days on site.

Most towers ask for a work permit or NOC from building management before contractors start. We provide the information they usually request, such as the scope of work, a schedule and our team's details, and we work within the building's permitted hours.

Can you replace only the kitchen in my apartment?

Yes. Many Reem projects are a kitchen on its own. We measure, design it in 3D, manufacture it to your exact walls and install it in a few working days, with new worktops and built-in appliances if you want them.

Will building management allow the work?

Can you design an apartment for rental?
